Who made this?
My name is Dallas, the artist behind Northern Resolve. I’m an Albertan songwriter living in a small town in the province I’ve called home my whole life.
I write the lyrics myself and care deeply about the place and the people they’re written about. The songs come out of conversations heard around kitchen tables, coffee shops, and long drives across prairie highways.
I’m a filmmaker by background and ocationaly a vocalist, but I’m not a recording engineer. Rather than waiting for the perfect studio setup, I’ve been using modern digital tools to help bring the music to life so the songs can be shared now, while the conversations they reflect are still unfolding.
The goal of this project is simple:
to put words and melody to the things many Albertans are wrestling with right now.
If the songs help people think, talk, and process those questions a little more honestly, then they’ve done their job.
Help more people hear songs like this
If this song resonated with you, one way you can help is by sharing it.
Another is helping cover the ad costs so more people across Alberta can hear it.
